In my first stream of research, I investigate the psychological experiences of modern, nonstandard work arrangements such as holding multiple jobs or working in the gig economy. I am intrigued by the opportunities and challenges that people face when working outside of traditional organizational structures and aim to provide researchers and practitioners with an enhanced understanding of how to navigate the new world of work.

In a secondary stream of work, I explore community at work and outside of work. In this research stream, I theorize about how people build community at work and the impact that community has on their work lives.

Lastly, in a third research stream, I examine the relational dynamics of employee voice.
